Dress Code...Men and women are required to appropriately cover their legs, back
and chest in the co-ed fitness area. No T-back tops, spaghetti straps, extreme cut-off
shorts or torn clothing. No shorts other than knee length spandex. Sneakers must be
worn while using the facilities. Appropriate dress is required. Members and guests will
be asked to leave if not properly dressed.
Child Care Center...Open during specified hours with supervision provided. Center
includes TV and toys. MINIMUM age for child is one (1) year old. Member must be on
premises at the times while child/children are in the Center. No child may be left in the
Center for more than two (2) hours. Attendant should not be expected to change soiled
clothing and members should take the necessary sanitary precautions. All children
are restricted to the Child Care Center; they are NOT permitted in any other part of the
club. Additional rules and regulations regarding the nursery are posted in the nursery.
Food is not permitted in the nursery.
Valuables and Personal Property
Members are urged to avoid bringing valuables into the gym. Coliseum Gym shall not
be liable for the loss or theft of, or damage to, the personal property of members or
guests, including items left at the front desk.
Lockers
► Please keep locker and locker rooms clean.
► No overnight locks are permitted.
► Management may remove any locks left overnight without prior notice.
► All articles left overnight in lockers will be removed.
Cardiovascular and Weight Rooms
► Inappropriate and/or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated in any way.
► Please refrain from dropping or banging weights.
► Please learn proper operation of equipment. If unsure please ask the staff.
► Please return weights to their proper place when finished using them.
► Please return all electronic equipment to base level.
► When asked, allow others to work in with you between sets.
► Always ask to make sure someone is done with a piece of equipment or if you can
work in between sets.
► Wipe upholstery down when finished using a piece of equipment.
Cell Phone Use and Camera Policies
With cellular phones and other wireless electronics escalating in use, the need for
standard etiquete increases as well. We recognize that cell phones provide a certain
amount of convenience; however, we must also recognize the importance of the
enjoyment of the other members and thus the need for the following guidelines.
The use of cell phones in the cardio, strength and studio areas of the gym are strictly
prohibited. (Cameras and other image capturing devices are strictly prohibited in all
areas of the gym.)
You are welcome to use cell phones in our lobby areas.
